Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crabmeat (backfin), well picked
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 c. heavy whipping cream
  • white pepper
  • cayenne pepper
  • 2 lb. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. grated Gruyere cheese

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients except crab and Gruyere together until smooth.
  2. Fold in the crabmeat gently to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle the top with 1/4 cup grated Gruyere cheese.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until bubbly and golden, about 25 to 30 minutes.
