Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. whiskey
  • 1/3 c. unsalted butter
  • 8 oz. gingersnaps, finely crushed

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with foil.
  2. Put cocoa, corn syrup, and whiskey in a medium-size saucepan; stir over low heat until melted and well blended.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir gingersnaps into the whiskey mixture and allow to cool slightly.
  5. Roll pieces of the mixture into walnut-sized balls, then flatten into even rounds.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours or until firm.
