Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 pkg. Knox gelatine
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 c. Cool Whip
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream together the sugar and cream cheese; add vanilla and milk.
  2. Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water; add cold water and let cool but not set.
  3. To the cream cheese mixture, add Cool Whip, chopped nuts, and pineapple if desired.
  4. When the gelatin is cool, add it to the mixture.
  5. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch dish and refrigerate until set.
