- Saute sliced mushrooms until lightly browned.
- Add white wine and dried tarragon to the skillet and cook over medium heat until the juices have evaporated.

- Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a separate saucepan.
- Add flour to the butter and cook, stirring constantly, to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in half and half and chicken broth, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt, nutmeg, and white pepper to taste.
- Cook lasagne noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- Layer the cooked noodles, mushroom sauce, and additional ingredients as desired in a baking dish.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
