Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup baking chips
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 capful vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter, margarine, and sugar.
  2. Add egg and vanilla, then mix well.
  3. Add remaining ingredients: flour, coconut, baking chips.
  4. Chill the dough or drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Flatten the cookies with a fork.
  6. Bake at 350°F until very lightly browned.
