Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 oz.) package white vanilla chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once mixture is boiling, cook for 10 to 11 minutes or until it reaches 225°F on a candy thermometer.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in white vanilla chips, butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold in chopped nuts.
  5. Pour into a prepared pan and cool until set before cutting into pieces.
