Ingredients

  • 1 lb. wieners
  • 6 c. diced potatoes
  • 3 c. diced carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 2 c. diced celery
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 pt. water
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery in salted water until soft.
  2. Add milk, sliced wieners, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  3. Thicken the stew with a paste made by rubbing together flour and butter.
