Ingredients

  • 2 (8 to 12 oz.) beef tenderloin steaks
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 head broccoli, cut up
  • 4 small carrots
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 oz. cooking wine
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • wild rice, cooked
  • 3 to 4 oz. grated cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef 15 to 20 minutes in wine mixed with salt, garlic salt and pepper.
  2. In baking dish add 1/4 inch of water, onions, celery,
  3. carrots, broccoli, basil and oregano.
  4. Cover with foil and
  5. steam vegetables until tender.
  6. Prepare rice following directions on
  7. package.
  8. Grill
  9. meat
  10. to
  11. desired doneness. After
  12. meat
  13. is
  14. cooked,
  15. cut
  16. into
  17. pieces.
  18. On
  19. a platter, arrange
  20. bed
  21. of
  22. rice.
  23. Place
  24. meat
  25. on rice and add steamed vegetables to the edge.
  26. Cover vegetables with grated cheese while hot to insure melting.
  27. Serves 2.
