Ingredients

  • 3-4 cups fresh or frozen fruit (peaches, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, or raspberries)

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Place butter in a 2-quart rectangular baking dish.

  3. Remove the dish from the oven. In a bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
