Wild Duck And Turnips

- Soak the wild duck in water containing a handful of soda for one day.
- Drain the duck and wash.
- Soak again overnight in water with one cup of vinegar.
- Drain and wash.
- Put 1/4 cup oil in a large Dutch oven and brown the duck all over.
- Chop 2 onions and plenty of cubed turnips.
- Cover all with water and add the chopped onions and turnips to the Dutch oven.
- Cook until all ingredients are stewed down.
- Serve over rice.
