Instructions
- Place the beef roast in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Cut slots in the roast and insert chopped fresh garlic if using.
- Pour cream of mushroom soup over the roast.
- Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce over the soup.
- Sprinkle dry onion soup mix evenly over everything.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the pan tightly with foil.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 250°F from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., approximately 10 hours.
- Remove from oven when done; serve hot with gravy.
