Ingredients

  • american cheese
  • onion
  • mushroom soup
  • flat noodles
  • celery
  • hamburger
  • green pepper
  • tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger; drain.
  2. Add soup, sauce, celery, green pepper and onion.
  3. Simmer at least 1 hour.
  4. Cook noodles; drain.
  5. In casserole, put layer of noodles, layer of meat sauce and layer of cheese slices.
  6. Repeat (end with cheese on top).
  7. Bake in oven at 350° for 30 minutes.
  8. This can be made ahead and frozen.
