A hearty casserole combining seasoned ground meat, creamy tomato and chicken soups, egg noodles, and melted cheese, perfect for comforting family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground meat
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (16 oz.) egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown ground meat with salt, pepper, brown sugar, and chopped onion.
  2. Add undiluted tomato soup to the meat mixture and cook together.
  3. Cook egg noodles until tender and drain.
  4. Mix cream of chicken soup into the cooked noodles.
  5. Layer the meat mixture and noodle mixture in a casserole dish, placing cheese between layers.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
