Ingredients

  • 2 small jars baby plums
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup Wesson oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a tube pan thoroughly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
  4. Add eggs, Wesson oil, and mix well until smooth.
  5. Drain baby plums and fold them gently into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared tube pan.
  7. Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
