Ingredients

  • 1 loaf sliced French bread
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • Swiss cheese sliced
  • chopped chives
  • poppy seed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Lay 1/2 slice Swiss cheese between each slice of French bread.
  3. Mix dry mustard, butter, and chopped chives; spread this mixture on top of the prepared bread.
  4. Sprinkle chopped green onions over the top.
  5. Add the chopped raw bacon slices evenly over the bread.
  6. Sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
  7. Bake on a baking sheet with sides for 20 minutes until golden and heated through.
