- Combine flour, 1 1/2 cup oats, sugar, soda, salt and melted oleo.
- Blend to form crumbs.
- Press 1/2 crumbs into 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and 1/2 cup chopped pecans over this.
- Mix 3 tablespoons flour with caramel topping; pour over mixture. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and pecans.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
- This will set as it sits.
