Ingredients

  • 4 halibut steaks
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle, chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 cup stuffed olives, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook halibut steaks with onion and celery in a small amount of water until done.
  2. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Flake the cooked fish and remove all bones.
  4. Mix the flaked fish with chopped hard-boiled eggs, chopped celery, sweet pickle, mayonnaise, lemon juice, sliced olives, salt, and pepper.
  5. Serve on lettuce leaves or shape in a fish mold if desired.
