- Use a food processor to chop the vegetables.
- The next morning, rinse the mixture well with cold water and drain thoroughly in a nylon net, pressing firmly to remove excess water.
- After draining, combine vinegar, sugar, nutmeg, turmeric, dry mustard, cornstarch, and celery seed in a pan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes.
- Pour the hot mixture into prepared jars and seal.
