Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 large can red salmon
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 1 tsp. horseradish
  • 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 pkg. salted pecans, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese stand at room temperature until it can be mixed easily.
  2. Flake and bone the salmon.
  3. Add the cream cheese, grated onion, horseradish, liquid smoke, and lemon juice to the salmon.
  4. Mix very well and refrigerate until the mixture is firm.
  5. Place chopped salted pecans and parsley on a piece of wax paper.
  6. Divide the firm mixture in half and shape into logs or balls.
  7. Roll the salmon logs into the pecan mixture to coat evenly and refrigerate.
  8. The logs can be frozen for later use.
