Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 to 2 lb. stew meat
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and French onion soup.
  2. Add the stew meat to the soup mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the meat is tender.
  4. While the stew is simmering, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Rice can be substituted for noodles if desired.
  5. Drain the noodles and add them to the stew, mixing well.
  6. Serve hot, garnished as desired.
