Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine or oleo
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts
  • 1 large package cream cheese
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 small boxes instant pudding (chocolate or vanilla)

Instructions

  1. Melt the oleo (margarine).
  2. Mix melted oleo with flour and nuts, then press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, Cool Whip, and confectioners sugar together until smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust.
  6. Beat the instant pudding with milk until well combined.
  7. Pour the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Top with additional Cool Whip.
  9. Cool overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
