Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup green peppers
  • 10 oz frozen peas, blended for 10 minutes
  • 1/2 cup red onions
  • 1 pound sharp cheese
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 pound bacon

Instructions

  1. Mix mayonnaise and sugar and set aside.
  2. Fry the bacon until crisp.
  3. Drain the bacon on a paper towel.
  4. Crumble the bacon.
  5. Shred the sharp cheese.
  6. Combine lettuce, celery, green peppers, onions, peas, and mayonnaise mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and cheese on top.
  8. Cover and put in refrigerator to cool.
  9. Let the salad set for a while before serving.
