Ingredients

  • 2 c. mashed bananas
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. melted oleo
  • 3 Tbsp. buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mash bananas.
  2. Add sugar and eggs.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add melted oleo.
  5. Mix in buttermilk, flour, soda, and nuts.
  6. Turn batter into greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pan.
  7. Bake 30 minutes at 350°F.
  8. Reduce heat to 300°F and bake until brown, about 45 minutes.
