Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound ground hamburger
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 package tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet.
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add chopped onion and chopped celery, then fry until tender.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, chili powder, creamed corn, kidney beans, and tomato sauce.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Layer tortilla chips over the meat mixture, then add another layer of meat, repeating until all ingredients are used.
  7. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until the cheese melts and bubbly.
