Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup oil or butter
  • 1 small bag slivered almonds
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, eggs, and 1 cup of flour; mix well.
  2. Add oil or butter.
  3. Add remaining ingredients including slivered almonds and vanilla.
  4. Pour batter into 2 greased bread pans.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until done.
  6. Remove from pans and slice as needed.
