Almond Buffet Casserole
A hearty casserole combining tender rice, savory sausage, crunchy vegetables, and almonds, baked to perfection. Perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings with rich flavors.

Instructions
- In a large saucepan, bring water and dehydrated chicken noodle soup to a boil.
- Add rice, cover, reduce heat, and boil for 25 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
- Remove from heat.
- Fry sausage until browned.
- Remove meat and pour off excess fat.
- Add chopped celery, chopped onion, and chopped green peppers to the remaining fat in the pan; cover and cook until tender and crisp.
- Add cooked rice, sausage, and 1/2 cup of almonds to the vegetables; mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining almonds over the top.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
