Ingredients

  • 1 large head broccoli (fresh)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 3 to 4 chicken breast halves
  • 10 to 12 Ritz crackers, crushed (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil or steam the broccoli until tender, then drain.
  2. Boil the chicken until done, remove bones, and cut into pieces.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. In a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish, layer the ingredients starting with cream of chicken soup.
  5. Add broccoli, sprinkle half of the cheese, then add the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese, then layer with cream of mushroom soup.
  7. Top with crushed Ritz crackers (optional).
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
