Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano

Instructions

  1. Brown chicken breasts on both sides in oil.
  2. Remove chicken and sauté 3 slices of onion in the skillet.
  3. Return chicken to the skillet with onions.
  4. Add tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  5. Cover and cook on medium for 20 minutes.
  6. Uncover and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Serve over noodles or rice.
