Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 2 cups apples, cut in wedges
  • 1 tablespoon oleo
  • 1/3 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine Bisquick, egg, milk, sugar, oil, chopped nuts, and raisins in a bowl.
  2. Pour the batter into a buttered 9-inch pan.
  3. Arrange the apple wedges evenly on top of the batter.
  4. Mix together sugar, cinnamon, and oleo (margarine or butter).
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) until the pie is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
