Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 can apple or cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, sugar, vanilla, and flour together to form a dough.
  2. Press the dough into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. Spread apple or cherry pie filling evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle chopped nuts, cinnamon, and sugar on top of the filling.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes until golden brown.
