Boilermaker Barbecue Sauce
A rich, smoky barbecue sauce with bold flavors of bourbon, molasses, and chili, perfect for grilling ribs or meats, adding depth and a spicy kick.

- Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until tender, about 8 minutes.
- Reduce heat and add chili sauce, beer, molasses, cider vinegar, bourbon whiskey, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer until the mixture reduces to about 2 cups, stirring occasionally, approximately 25 minutes.
- Stir in hot pepper sauce.
- Use to brush on during the last 10 minutes of grilling.
- For ribs, brush them often during the first part of cooking with a mixture of one part cider vinegar to 10 parts water and a pinch of dried crushed red pepper to keep them moist.
