Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. margarine or butter
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned, cubed stuffing
  • 2 c. chopped apples
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a 4-quart saucepan, over medium heat, melt margarine or butter, then cook chopped celery and onion until tender, stirring often.
  2. Add condensed chicken broth to the saucepan and heat to boiling.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat.
  4. Add the herb seasoned cubed stuffing, chopped apples, and chopped pecans; toss to mix well.
  5. Use to stuff a 12 to 14 pound turkey.
