Ingredients

  • 1 qt. apples
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Cut apples and place them in an unbaked pie crust.
  2. Mix sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour, then pour over the apples.
  3. Pour orange juice and lemon juice over the top, then place butter on top.
  4. Add the top pie crust and brush with the milk and sugar mixture.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
