Ingredients

  • 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 2 cups shredded apples
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, oil, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
  3. Fold in shredded apples, drained pineapple, and chopped nuts.
  4. Pour batter into a greased jelly roll pan.
  5. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool, then serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
