- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a blender, mix eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Melt butter in a 12-inch quiche dish or a 13 x 9-inch baking dish in the oven.
- Add apple slices to the baking dish with melted butter.
- Return to oven until the butter sizzles; do not let it brown.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and immediately pour the batter over the apples.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar or maple syrup.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes or until puffed and brown.
