Apple Topped Pork Chops

Instructions
- Brown the pork chops in a skillet, then transfer them to a baking pan.
- Season the chops with salt and pepper.
- Core and slice the unpeeled apples into 1/2-inch rings.
- Add butter to the skillet used for browning the chops and sauté the apple rings until tender.
- Place one apple ring on each pork chop.
- Cover the baking pan and bake at 300°F for 30 minutes.
- Drizzle honey over the apples and pork chops.
- Baste the chops with the drippings from the skillet.
- Cover and bake for another 15 minutes or until done.
- Before serving, place a cherry in the center of each apple ring.
