Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier dip, consider using Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. If you want to reduce calories, you can substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain yogurt. To add more flavor, try mixing in some chopped cilantro or diced jalapenos. Make sure the avocados are ripe for easy mashing and a smoother texture. This dip is a great alternative to traditional Bean Taco Layered Dip.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this Arizona Chalupa Dip with large round nacho chips for the perfect scoop. It pairs beautifully with a fresh salad or as part of a Mexican-themed spread. For a complete meal, consider serving it alongside grilled chicken or beef. This dip also works well as an appetizer at parties, complementing other Mexican recipes like Tortilla Chip Hot Dip.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dip before sealing. Reheat in the oven at 350°F until warmed through, about 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, you can enjoy it cold or at room temperature.
