- Heat oil in a Dutch oven and brown ground meat for 5 mins, until crumbly. Add onion, garlic, ginger and chilies and saute for 2 mins. Season with salt. Add 4 cups water, bring to a boil and add crushed bouillon cubes. Add leek, carrots and bean sprouts and boil for 3 mins. Add soy sauce and five-spice powder. Serve.
