A hearty and comforting casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, mushrooms, water chestnuts, and crunchy chow mein noodles, perfect for family dinners and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can mushrooms with juice
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 can chow mein noodles
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup Minute rice
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the hamburger until fully cooked.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked hamburger, mushrooms with juice, drained water chestnuts, mushroom soup, soy sauce, Minute rice, and water.
  4. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350°F (175°C).
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chow mein noodles before serving if desired.
