Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh asparagus
  • 1 tsp. fresh chopped garlic
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. canola oil

Instructions

  1. In a large frying pan, heat butter and canola oil over medium heat.
  2. Sauté garlic, stirring for about 5 minutes or until it begins to turn light brown.
  3. Add asparagus and sauté for about 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Pour in white wine and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
