Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 c. uncooked macaroni

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Blend in flour, salt, and a dash of pepper.
  3. Gradually stir in milk and shredded Cheddar cheese.
  4. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and smooth.
  5. Stir in sour cream and cooked macaroni.
  6. Heat through without boiling.
  7. Serve immediately.
