Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Put butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan in a 375°F oven to melt while oven is preheating.
  2. Mix together dry ingredients: Bisquick, cornmeal, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and milk to the dry mixture and stir.
  4. Turn the pan to coat with melted butter as you pour butter into the batter.
  5. Stir just to mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
