Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. flavoring (vanilla, almond, etc.)
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs and sugar together for 10 minutes.
  2. Add flavoring. Add sifted dry ingredients and water.
  3. Beat together thoroughly. Lightly grease 9 x 13-inch pan (bottom).
  4. Bake at 325° to 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Cool in pan.
  6. Spread with whipped cream and cut into serving size pieces.
  7. Try other toppings like lemon, caramel or chocolate.
