Ingredients

  • 4 cups apples or pears
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Slice apples or pears. Pour water over and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and egg. Sprinkle over apples.
  3. Melt butter and pour over the top.
