Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid hot pepper sauce
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Peel the avocado and mash it to a smooth pulp.
  2. Add sour cream, milk, minced onion, crushed garlic, minced cilantro, hot pepper sauce, and lemon juice.
  3. Blend the mixture with a wire whisk or in a blender until smooth.
  4. Let the sauce stand for at least an hour before serving.
