Ingredients

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Grease a 10-inch pie pan with 1 1/2-inch depth.
  3. Sprinkle the fried and crumbled bacon, shredded Swiss cheese, and chopped onion evenly into the prepared pie pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, milk, biscuit mix, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the pie pan over the bacon, cheese, and onion mixture.
  6. Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean and the edges are golden, about 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
