Ingredients

  • 2 cups canned tuna fish or salmon or 1 lb. filleted fish, cooked
  • 2 teaspoons diced onion
  • 2 teaspoons capers
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Drain and flake the fish.
  3. Add diced onion and capers to the fish.
  4. In a separate dish, combine mayonnaise, water, cream, salt, paprika and stir until smooth.
  5. Add half of this cream sauce to the fish mixture and mix well.
  6. Place the fish mixture in a buttered loaf pan or baking dish.
  7. Bake in the 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Mix the remaining sauce with curry and spread over the baked fish loaf slices.
  9. Cut into six slices while still hot and spoon sauce over the slices.
