Ingredients

  • 16 oz. package ziti pasta
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 48 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
  • 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place cooked pasta in a 13x9 inch pan.
  3. In a skillet, combine ground beef, garlic, and chopped onion, cooking until the ground beef is no longer pink.
  4. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  5. Add spaghetti sauce and diced tomatoes to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  6. Spread the sauce mixture over the cooked pasta in the pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for one hour.
  8. Remove from oven, top with shredded mozzarella cheese, and bake for an additional fifteen minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
