Ingredients

  • 2 ripe peaches
  • 2 Tbsp chopped nuts
  • 4 crisp cookies
  • 1/2 c whipped cream
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp rum
  • 1/3 c water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Skin the peaches, then cut them in half and remove the pits.
  3. Place the peach halves cut side up in a buttered baking dish.
  4. Combine chopped nuts, crumbled cookies, sugar, and rum in a bowl.
  5. Divide the mixture among the cavities of the peach halves.
  6. Pour 1/3 cup water into the baking dish.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes until peaches are tender.
  8. Serve hot with whipped cream, if desired.
