Ingredients

  • 3 lb. spareribs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Bake the spareribs uncovered at 350°F for 1 1/4 hours.
  2. Mix all other ingredients: chopped onion, chopped green pepper, tomato sauce, vinegar, crushed pineapple, and brown sugar.
  3. Pour the mixture over the baked ribs.
  4. Bake uncovered for an additional 1 hour.
